Not going to post my wishlist anymore because I really shouldn't be trying to abuse all your generosity, but I just wanted to post some pics I took of the game I was gifted, Endless Space 2, just because I want to and some of you might like it.

It's a space 4x game, so close to Stellaris in feel but it's turn based like Civ is. But the main thing that sets the game apart is how different the few factions you do get to play with are.

Say hi to the faction of mecha-insects that need to expand out in a reasonable time-frame or all the values of what they produce go way down, basically making them into ticking time bombs. As a result of their need to expand ever outwards or literally eat themselves alive, they often get into wars with their neighbors. In fact it's really the only option they have, as they're very limited on when they can even make peace deals in the first place.
Yay for me, for they spawned right next to me on my first playthrough. /s

Ship builder to build ships in, along with ship combat that involve selecting a tactic to employ before going into combat.

And finally, a picture of the rather beautiful homeworld of the United Empire (The game's most balenced and spanerse faction. To the point that one of the quest in the faction's main questline allows you to change their very population type, allowing them a degree of ability to change their own focus that no other faction can do).
