I think she knew that, and I know you might understand that too. The state she was in, and trying to make sense of how to protect your well being and help you let go. Perhaps she was wrong, but I'm leaning to believe she was trying with the best intentions.
I saw my dad lose it when my grandma died. He dropped everything to help keep her alive, and it still affects me + my mom + my uncle + my brothers' living situation. She seemingly decided to go when my dad finally had to fly back here for a bit.
