Hexenherz posted... I see your point, but then how is a site like Facebook supposed to determine that content posted on their service was copied from a news outlet? And which news outlet?
I guess it's technically possible by automatically scraping news outlets and comparing them to posts made. It's a huge task for Facebook to set something like that up, but ultimately not more difficult than the sort of content matching Youtube does for copyrighted music.
I see the intent of the law but it seems really ill conceived.
