I'm in the same boat. I've been having intermittent GI bleeding and alternating constipation/diarrhea. Two doctors told me its "probably" hemorrhoids. But I have bowel cancer running in my family so I've been doing my best to find a doctor that will give me a referral anywhere. I finally found one, and got some better health insurance this year, to boot. Now its phone tag to find a damn specialist in the first place.
This shit's the absolute worst and I absolutely feel you. I wish I could just go to any hospital and have them do what they have to do and not charge an arm and a leg (to not even do anything).
