i played FF8 three times, and by that i mean i tried to play it until i got bored. still never finished it
and i never once toucjed Triple Triad

Triple Triad is the main story.
Fighting for SeeD is the side content.

That is certainly how the game play works out.

Leveling up by fighting monsters ends up making you weak.

Wasting time playing cards is how to become strong.

I do love the whole damn game, but Ill admit its the itch to play Triple Triad again that brings me back.

FF8 and FF13 are the only two FF games i've actually finished (not counting FF14 cuz i never picked up Dawntrail, and thus am not finished the story)

I've played a fairly reasonable amount of 6, 9, 10, and 13-2.

i don't hate any of them, i just haven't gotten around to beating them yet. keep getting distracted by more actiony games.

I'll stand proudly with the other five people on the planet who actually enjoy playing Caravan. No NV playthrough is truly complete until I've collected the Gomorrah Ace of Spades with the topless Bettie Page drawing on it.

15 years after starting my first NV playthrough, the 30 Caravan wins remains the only achievement I am missing for that game. And it was only last year, my most recent playthrough, I finally bothered to get the one for 3 wins.
