The only part that was bad was anytime Jared Leto had a conversation with anyone.

Kinda unrelated but I saw a bumper sticker in a Tesla not long ago that said something like "I like the environment, not Musk" except I think it rhymed somehow.

Kinda felt bad for that person. I assume they had had that car since before the nazi salute and stuff.

I got to watch it with a coworker, it wasn't really that bad. The action scenes actually looked decent and the CGI, for the most part, was really well done. Otherwise, it's a turn off your brain action flick.

Its not as good as Tron Legacy, but yeah I enjoyed it for what it was after going in with rock bottom expectations. Great visual and audio feast, with just an average story and characters.

Saw it in IMAX 3D and that NIN soundtrack just melted my face off. 3D visuals were fantastic too. Fun experience overall because of all that.

How are there so many Tron movies? I've never met anyone who was interested in the franchise. This movie flopped. Oh well

Ok the fact that this Tron 3 movie is higher rated than Tron 2 is fair, I don't really care. But the fact that the audience score is actually higher than the first movie? Actually higher than Tron 1? Nah to hell with that. Tron has one of the best aesthetics in a movie I've ever seen.

I'll watch 3 soon, but wondering if it's gonna match 2 in its drab lifeless colorless world (without even the daft punk soundtrack to make up for it) or will be closer to 1 in terms of embracing color, especially in a post mcu superhero craze world

It wasn't bad. I liked it, especially the leads (Lee and Smith).

Leto is box office cancer, though. The only reason he's attached to this project is because he was a producer.

To quote someone in the industry whose name I've already forgot: "We could have had Ryan Gosling."

Havent seen Ares, but my family loves the franchise! My husband has a special connection to the original; my kids and I like Legacy; and we all love the Hans Zimmer-influenced Daft Punk soundtrack.

There's not really much Frisbee golf. Most of the action is vehicular in nature. When people are involved, it tends to be up close & personal.

Its not like Tesla isnt the only EV on the market. They could easily trade theirs in and get a GE EV or something

I sadly agree. As a Tron fan, I've never met another Tron fan IRL. The last movie in 2010 did alright at the box office, though, and I have no doubt that Daft Punk doing the soundtrack played a role in that. Nobody I've spoken to knows the name of the 2nd movie, but they'll call it "The Daft Punk one" if they've seen it.
