The other issue is the MSRP has jumped to something like $25, iirc, where I need to be more invested. Falgos posted... but rebuilding my Transformers collection. I feel like peak Transformers collecting time was probably about a decade ago when the Classics and Generations lines were a thing. The figures now don't look as great (in package, the bots look oddly thin) and are considerably more expensive. I was looking at the Transformers One Starscream at Target the other and just couldn't care enough to pay that much. Then again, the fact I have a lot of Starscreams already is part of it. The TF One design is close enough to the WfC design and I already have the original WFC Starscream (which I don't like that much and, honestly, was half-tempted by the voyager release of the design) Of course, what I'm really kicking myself over was not buying the voyager-class Armada Starscream a few years ago. However, at the time I was thinking that I already had the Generations Armada Starscream, which was alright other than midsection being a little bit off (there's kind of just a gap when you look at it sideways, which I also hate about the Generations WfC Starscream) and I was still sour over that price hike. And now the aftermarket is... actually, it's not that bad. I got back into collecting real heavy around the time SS86 started, but haven't had much space to display, and my storage area is getting full, so these guys, half the Aerialbots and a few others are still in their prisons. I've got Omega Supreme and Vortex coming in the next week or so.
