Is it worth watching? Is its writing at least better than Helluva Boss's?

Ive only seen the first season, but I enjoyed it. The plot felt kinda rushed, but the songs and humor were really good. Im looking forward to the second season.

I really love it for what it's worth

I like it. The songs are great. The only criticism is that it's really rushed. Hopefully S2 slows down the pacing.

From my understanding the animation is more traditional than most streaming exclusive cartoons, still digital, but like not like super rigged Flash animation.

That shit takes time.

My biggest criticism is the pacing, feels very rushed that some of the twists don't have the intended impact as they were hoping for. But still it's pretty funny and the songs are some real toe tappers. I do hope season 2 finds the right pacing.

I love it. Fun characters, good animation/style, and story. And a bunch of the songs quickly made it into my playlist.

Yeah, I actually had to watch it a few times to fully grasp everything. Too many important details are "blink and you'll miss it".

It's good, but it suffered from being four episodes too short and spending too much time on characters that won't really mean anything until this second season. HB suffers from the opposite where they've kind of just dragged it out way too long and there are way too many unnecessary things. I would say she's just not the best showrunner in the world, so hopefully the indie and mainstream experience will help her on future seasons and productions.

It is a fantastic show and I loved every bit of it. The songs are incredible and the voice acting is top notch.

Everyone else has said it, but it rings true; first season is good, but suffered greatly by being rushed. Important details are brushed past, character arcs are resolved a bit too quickly. But the songs are fantastic, it has a fun idea behind it.

Great show, I like Helluva Boss a bit more between the two, but it is still great.
