I remember this movie was HUGE when it came out when I was in high school and enjoying it.

vastly preferred original but maybe that's because i watched it first.

I said "indifferent" because it's not a movie I've thought much about since seeing it when it originally released, but I do remember enjoying it well enough. The horse scene on the ferry was creepy to me for reasons I cannot put into words but other than that I don't really care.
