Anyone who is streaming on twitch and posting videos that are more than just a short are already doing so on Youtube, If they got rid of streaming entirely it would likely destroy their value since I doubt they could compete with Youtube when it comes to posted premade videos.

It only really works on livestreams you can generally block ads on twitch VODs.

They certainly made it harder, but it is possible to block ads still.

IIRC Twitch did the opposite of this recently. They put limits on how many VODs can be saved. This is the second time that I remember a lot of content was removed.
