Yes, but it's kind of complicated because by the time Ohtani really broke through as an MVP-type hitter, Trout had become plagued by injuries. Mind you, their subpar pitching and defense were the major reasons for their inability to realistically contend but Trout's prime and Ohtani's prime didn't overlap as much as many people imagine.

Trout almost exclusively played center field during his prime, which is probably the 4th most difficult defensive position because of the immense amount of ground that they patrol (FAR more than anyone else on the field) and effectively being the one who coordinates the positioning of their partners on the corners. That said, Trout's intense playing style wherein he routinely went the extra mile to make the play (diving to catch bloop hits, running into walls, stealing bases, etc) combined with his large frame (6'2" 240 lbs) wore his body down faster than the average player at his position. He's still a productive hitter but with his injuries and turning 35 next year, he's "probably" done having MVP considerable seasons. For reference, discounting the COVID shortened 2020 season, this seasons was only the 2nd time since 2019 (his most recent MVP season) where he played more than 100 games.

No, because that has no bearing on his ability to hit home runs or pitch like an absolute animal.

Also worth noting that all his homers were solo, and after the first inning he accounted for the entirety of the rest of their scoring.

It's crazy that Ohtani can do all of this and Judge is still better.

It's still amazing that the Angels had both Ohtani and Trout in his prime at the same time yet couldn't even make the playoffs once.
