Prime LeBron? Esp. when factoring in that they were like larger or taller athletes.

Its probably Wilt. LeBron is way up on that list, but Wilt was on a level of his own.

What do you think of mourning, athletecism? Imo cwebb was a better player than mourning overall though. Better hops too. I was a huge fab five fan.

I can't help but wonder if this thread is the result of Bron fans not liking the fact that more people considered Ohtani a better athelete in baseball compared to Lebron in basketball in a recent thread.
And the correct answer will always be Wilt Chamberlin.

John Stockton for his entire career he only missed 22 games and played for 19 seasons and was always in the starting line up until he retired. Has the record for most assists and steals by a lot.

I give it to Wilt. He was an athletic freak at a time where modern medicine and fitness/training techniques werent as advanced as they are today. But what gets him the top spot for me was his ability to be able to consistently play nearly the entire game in an era where the pace was extremely fast.

Some honorable mentions: LeBron, Giannis, Westbrook, Dwight Howard, Vince, David Robinson, Kemp, Shaq (specifically when he played for Orlando, as he was pretty fast for a 280 lb guy or however much he weighed during those years), MJ.

It's Wilt.

The man was 7ft 1in, 275lbs
His vertical was 46-48 inches
Long jump was 22 ft and Shot put 53 ft 4in in High School
In 1960 the NBA banned free throw dunking cause of Wilt

Here's an insane photo to put everything into perspective

Yeah, but Wilt was benching like 500+. He had the speed, the leaping, and the power. Not saying LeBron isnt elite in all regards, but just that Wilt was a different type of monster.

Fun Bill Russell fact: he would have qualified for the high jump for the 1956 Olympics but had to turn it down because in that era they weren't allowed to compete in two different sports.
