At 32, I used shaving cream for the 2nd time in my life yesterday.

I've had shaving cream used on me before, overseas a skin fade means actually to the skin and they'd bust out the Barbasol and single blade razor and go to town.

I've always dry shaved. Don't even wet the blade or my face. Just go slow and with the grain to start then go back against the grain. Very rarely get ingrown hairs and only get cuts with fresh blades.

I use Barbasol on my neck with a razor blade, and an electric razor with no cream to trim and cut my beard.

What do you use a safety blade or razor? I prefer to use shaving gel

shaving soap and a double edge razor. takes more time but idk, I like the whole process of setting it up and shaving.

5 blade Gillette razor.

Can usually get a couple weeks of life out of them since I shave most days for work. We're supposed to be freshly shaven each day but I can get away with skipping a day. Most of us don't care that much anymore if someone isn't 100% smooth. Even with the crackdown on beards.

I dry shave my face and trim my beard with clippers and a Pitbull Gold for my head but I prefer that my head is freshly washed and a little damp for when I shave it.

Sometimes I'll treat myself to a shave at the Turkish barber's (they are so fucking good at it), and get the hot towel/shaving cream/cutthroat razor experience.

Dry shave with a 3-disc electric. Not as close as a blade, but cheaper, not as messy, and I have permanent five o' clock shadow anyway.

When I use a razor, yes I use shaving cream. But often I'll just use clippers

it's not great, if I use it at the lowest setting it'll irritate my skin so I always have a bit of stubble cus I'll always use the shortest attachment.

or if i'm growing out my facial hair, I'll use scissors and a comb cus the razor clippers cause the hairs to get split. but i usually dont cus its so uneven and patchy for a while lol, takes like 2 months to look halfway decent

No but to be fair I dont shave either. From the time I was 16 I had a beard except from 18 to 23 in the military. From the time I came home in 1999 I havent shaved. Ill trim the mustache a bit but beard is full on leave it alone. Its full and thick and down to my thighs.

However when I did shave, electric for daily use but razor and cream when needed for inspections.

When I clean shaved I used shaving cream. But now I just trim my beard with an electric razor.
