I wanted to 100%, but now that I cleared the game, I feel... done. There's plenty else to play. I should be satisfied.

Dont worry. Double jump makes your float 3rd priority instead of 2nd so it destroys a lot of your muscle memory to get used to double jump

It's impossible to get any ending in Silksong without passing through multiple places that have obvious areas that are only accessible through a double jump so idk why you didn't look harder for it.

Youre intended to attain double jump in Act 2, so you will likely need to explore more than you have. I recommend doing that prior to Act 3.

You can't get to act 3 without double jump because you won't be able to get some of the required items for the needolin trap.

As someone who also got an ending without double jump, I always just kept assuming it was going to be further in the future. so I was looking for it, it's just I was looking in the game-progression direction, and then at some point I found a thing that was clearly a final boss fight and just thought "well I'm here, may as well do it"

I also reached this end screen while still at 5 max health lol

By the time you get there, all these enemies (except the big bug(s)) have been encountered multiple times. They're a solved factor, and it helps that they spend the majority of their time just... not doing anything.

Did you like... Not do any side quests or something? There's a pretty obvious one that sets it up for act 3. But yeah you clearly should get double jump at some point so not sure what you've been doing. You could have gotten it as early as getting the clawshot

I feel like I've been going out of my way to do as many side quests as possible, but I ended up getting all the song bits while doing so, so like I said, figured "if I go a bit further I'll get the jump"

I didn't get double jump and did side quests, I just didn't want to deal with Mount Faye cause I figured you'd get a warm cloak somewhere. Then I got cursed and went to kill GMS.

The same way you do it with 6 health. Don't get hit 3 times in a row without healing.
