Stuff like Mario Party, Mario Kart, Mario Golf, etc.

I guess Smash Brothers would count too but it's not the type of game I was thinking of when initially typing up the poll results.

Either way I pick Mario a lot, he's-a cool guy.

In Sports/Party games I go Bowser first, then Mario if someone already has Bowser. Mario is also one of my secondaries in Smash.

Depends on the game/available characters. I'm not sure if I have an absolute overall favorite. If I did, I'd probably say Navy Blue Yoshi. But I usually go with characters that look cool. Sometimes I'd go with Koopa if they have a cool outfit. I've even tried Shy Guy in the Mario Tennis game for the Switch I think. I do like Luigi though, it's just I'm likely to pick him as backup if a cooler character is not available.

If the game lets you play as bowser, Ill always pick him over 90% of the Nintendo cast.

I'm always a Yoshi and Bowser main. Later in life, I tend to lean more towards Bowser then Yoshi though. Especially in Mario kart, I like having that push around weight.

Not often.

From what I remembered from my mario party days (last one I played at length was party 3 on the N64 with my nephews and bro) I usually played as peach, lol.

In mario kart I'm usually rosalina, DK, waluigi, and ludwig in 8. Also diddy when he is available and pauline as of 8 deluxe's DLC.

I don't play much mario sports titles, but I would imagine I would use waluigi, rosalina or bowser in most of them.

Mario is my go-to in Mario Kart and Party. He was in original Smash Bros. as well as Brawl, but he really isn't that good in those games (or I just suck, which is possible). In Tennis Aces, I'm fond of Blooper. I don't really play a lot of other spin-offs.

Never. When we play as a family, my husband always snags him. When Im okay with just my kids (who arent really kids anymore), I usually pick Yoshi. Its sort of a joke.
