The fact is that, you know, it's a bit of a layup and easy way to shit on somebody and ruin their career. Of course people who don't like him will glom onto it. This doesn't have any relevance on whether it did or didn't happen.

The motion of the green dot isn't matching the motion of the collar if you go frame-by-frame. Sorry, brother, you're being duped. Shit like this is becoming more commonplace in the internet. Snippets of shit to create false narratives. We just went through this with Charlie Kirk's death. As much as I'm okay with putting Israel on blast, people magnified irrelevant aspects surrounding his death to create false theories.

IF, for some reason, it is a shock collar, then yes, Hasan deserves that heat. Poor Kaya. But there's nothing really solid here that tells us that's the case.

Because it's a deflection. They can't critize Hasan for abusing his dog, so they have to come up with any reason to deflect away from the truth. It's also why "It's a psyop from Destiny" is the other angle being pushed.

"Ad hominem" gets used a lot when people are just doing a little insulting on the side as a treat, but this "consider the source" argument is what the term actually refers to. But to be fair, this isn't a pure logic thing and weighing the likely value of information is an important part of this kind of public opinion trial, so honestly it can be worth mentioning. It just isn't a basis to write off the whole concern here imo

I mean let's be real, they're not gonna believe a thing Hasan says, but you're right. I don't know if Hasan is a good person or not. I'm aligned with his politics, but he could be the biggest asshole for all I know. But what I DO know is that there is massive movement that's out to silence/deplatform him, much of which is incredibly dishonest. This doesn't mean that we should hate on the people who are duped by these people, as given what little they know of him (Hasan) it's very easy to take these clips they're subject to and come to a conclusion. All we need to do is take the snippets of information we get online and take it with a grain of salt.

To be fair, its not hard to buy an AirTag collar attachment separately. I know this because I had to help my neighbors set theirs up for their dog and they had a kit that you punched the tag holder right into the collar to permanently attach it.

That said Im still not fully convinced that its a shock collar, even with the green light. My sisters dog wears a bark collar (vibrates and produces a high-pitch sound to distract the dog when it barks) that also has a remote to activate it manually. There are so many things it could potentially be that arent a shock collar its hard to imagine just jumping automatically to that conclusion.

The takeaway should be people should wait before rushing to assumptions, whether to attack or defend somebody.
