I made the cure in Mass Effect, but when I try to give Dr. Cohen the cure, he says he doesn't allow shooting.

What do I do?

I had to fight the ERS soldiers and had to kill Captain Versalis.

Yeah, you screwed up.

Only thing to do is massacre all of those scientists I guess.

...Except maybe Han Olar, the traumatized volus.

If the guards start shooting, it's over.

Order:

1. Get task from Cohen
2. Ask Ventralis for access
3. Hot Labs, make cure
4. Kill ambushers
5. Return to Cohen, get his Maintenance pass

Done.

I'm almost positive that entering Maintenance or setting off the neutron purge also end it prematurely.

I'm like 80+% positive that the neutron purge is what turned Ventralis hostile in the first place for the TC.

Happens a lot to people who explore too hard. They could just go investigate when the Rachni Queen requests you to do it later on, but nah...
