The 1987 version of SolarQuest. It's like Monopoly in space... only with gravity, orbits, fuel, and lasers! You can not only lose by going bankrupt, but also by running out of fuel or getting blasted by an opponent's lasers. SolarQuest has 91 spaces and 48 purchasable properties, compared to Monopoly with 28 properties you can buy out of 40 total spaces. There is a wider range of properties per color groups as well, ranging for 11 for Jupiter to just 1 property each for Mercury, Venus, and the Moon. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/a/a37223d9.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/8/8f88919d.jpg --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ... When I was a kid I had this absolutely insane board game called Oh What A Mountain! The board was vertical and the pieces had little hooks so they could hang off the face of the mountain. There were numerous obstacles such as a goat that would headbutt players, a giant snowball, a cave that would send you sliding down the board, and path segments that would move. If your piece fell off the mountain, you had to start over again. The great part was that there were multiple paths you could take. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/a/a346a4ea.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/4/469e0eb6.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/e/ed339402.jpg --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ... It's basically the same game, but with all the Scooby Doo cast Yeah, there's a few different variations of Betrayal. Like the D&D one "Betrayal at Baldur's Gate". The Legacy version of the game is really cool, but the downside is that, like with many legacy-style games, it basically expects you to destroy your game as you go, so you can really only play through it once (unless you buy multiple copies of the game). --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ... @Greenfox111 have played wingspan a few times (love looking at the art & facts for the birds), played wyrmspan once (have a vague memory of it though), but the best thing about finspan next to the card art, is how easy it is to digest (in the its not too complicated with trying to roll dice for food, etc.)!! --- we are who we are. who we meet in life, adds to the journey ... IDK if I'd say favorite, but Sorry is a classic game and you rarely get groans from anybody. It's simple and basically self explanatory. I usually put card and board games together. My favorite is probably Skip-bo. It's so fun, works your brain a little but isn't too hard at all. It's a lot less aggressive than Uno, making it better for "sensitive" players, and you kinda play against yourself and others. --- Warning: Sometimes biased http://i.imgur.com/V0x5fw8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IOovUge.gif http://i.imgur.com/zw7bqPH.jpg ... The game of Life. Ever wondered how many pegs you can pack into one of the moving piece cars? I still laugh about the time a friend was playing with us and they kept getting recycled, over and over again to the same area of the board and THEN kept hitting the "You had a baby" space..... There just wasn't enough car to handle them all, the little pegs stuffed and piled on would fall out everytime they moved their gamepiece. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've been a fan of Mille Bornes since I was a kid, but I don't really like the current card design. I preferred the old bilingual English/French cards from 1962, which is the deck my parents had. The first French words I ever learned were roulez, creve, roue de secours, essence, panne d'essence, limite de vitesse, fin de limite de vitesse, reparations, vehicule prioritaire, citerne d'essence, increvable, and as du volant. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/2/2528d5d4.jpg The deck I have currently is the 1982 edition, which is still bilingual, but the artwork has been oversimplified. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/7/769a68ff.jpg The current version uses the old style artwork, but only in English, which just isn't the same. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/1/1a30d39a.jpg I can't yell "Creve!" at someone as I hit them with a flat tire. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ...
