The lead dev for the series (Itsuno) left Capcom about a year ago, so the series (at least as far as the games go) is probably on ice at the moment aside from the anime and crossovers that theyve been doing. That said, Kamiya (the original lead dev that worked on DMC1) returned to them, so maybe he picks the series back up. Correction: Kamiya isnt exactly back with Capcom, its just the studio he owns now is working with Capcom to make an Okami sequel. Though he could probably do the same with DMC. ... they always taken forever to put out a game after the original trilogy. i loved 5...well i've loved all of them except 2 and that which shall not be named. thought 5 did well so was hoping to get another game after a few years. does seem crazy we won't get a proper one on PS5. i did see they did put out another mobile game last year so they're still doing something with the IP at least. hopefully they announce something soon. --- This is a sig ...
