So in terms of dollars, 11 of the 20 games are from the Call of Duty Franchise? Guess that is to be expected.

I find that unusual. Like I know Spider-Man did well but. GTA5 sold like 80 million copies. Spidey couldnt have outsold all but 5 games in the history of PlayStation. Even things like Horizon got like 20 million under their belt.

Makes sense. All of those games and series are super popular with the casual crowd. If they included mobile games, it'd probably take us half the list.

I'm surprised Horizon isn't on the units side though. It sold like 26mil if I remember correctly.

Odd how GTA4 and RDR1 didn't make it.

Spiderman might actually be a top 10 ip worldwide. I was surprised to find out just how popular the Spiderman brand is outside of the US.

I've played two or three games on that list, and other than the potential third game, it wasn't on Playstation. I've played Guitar Hero 3 on Wii, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Wii U. I have vague recollections of having played one of the other Call of Duty games on a PS3 with friends one time, but I couldn't tell you which one.

Okayso the biggest number I can find is that the first Spider-Man game sold 25m worldwide. Butthat puts it below horizon.

now, the SERIES has sold 36 million worldwide counting the 11m of spidey 2, and up to 44million adding in miles morales game as well.

so at 44m I can see it bring on the list, but why would this series count as 1 entry, when individual games in series count otherwise?
