Some folks out here refusing to even try ChatGPT are basically Abe Simpson yelling at a cloud. Technology keeps moving forward, and instead of seeing the value in a tool that can help with writing, research, ideas, learning, or even just having fun conversations, theyd rather stand on the porch and grumble about it.
The thing is, ChatGPT isnt replacing your creativity or thinking its enhancing it. Like a calculator for words, ideas, and problem-solving. You dont lose anything by trying it but you do lose out if you dismiss it just because its new.
So the choice is: embrace the tool and see what it can do for you, or keep shaking your fist at the cloud.

We need more AI not just because its cool tech, but because it solves real human problems at scale. A few big reasons:

Far from replacing human imagination, AI can act like a creative partnerhelping with brainstorming, music production, game design, art, and storytelling.

When it can actually answer my questions correctly, I might consider using it. But since it is consistently wrong, there is no value in using it.

Why are half the topics on the front page about AI or written by AI? The biggest positive about this site dying and this forum being hidden, is we avoid bots and AI bullshit. Even as a joke, its not funny when 10 other people are also doing the same bit. Mods need to step in IMO.

I get the appeal, you can suddenly feel talented without putting in the work.
