I was getting 0 hits on my resume from job websites(LinkedIn, Indeed). My savings were dwindling and my anxiety was killing me. I put my resume into ChatGPT and told it my predicament and to make resume undeniable and appealing. I also made it write all of my cover letters. All of a sudden, I started getting hits left and right. Not only that, but I started interviewing with some jobs that are a tier above the jobs I was targeting. I just got the call this morning that I got a job and I attribute that to chatGPT. I know there's some hate with AI, but it saved my life. --- http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lu9sfueDC81qfb808.png ... People love to point out the flaws in ChatGPT, but its easy to forget the good things it can actually do. It helps with writing from polishing emails to drafting resumes and brainstorming creative ideas. It can explain complicated topics in simpler terms, making learning easier. It saves time on research by quickly summarizing information. It sparks creativity, whether youre writing stories, lyrics, or even jokes. It can be a supportive tool for practicing conversations, interviews, or presentations. Its not perfect, but when used thoughtfully, ChatGPT can be an incredibly useful assistant for both everyday tasks and bigger projects. --- You ain't gotta like me You just mad cuz I tell it how it is and you tell it how it might be ... Unironically I was thinking of doing this yesterday too. I was submitting job applications but got no hits, so I took a look at my resume my dad helped write with resume writers but I noticed it didn't include anything I learned in school or anything I was applying to. So I was thinking of getting AI to either get a resume template or get it to write a good one. Seems to be what I should do now, good idea then. --- Proud Arceus of C.E.A.L. 3DS: 3926 5179 1229 IGN: ICanSnake (AS, Moon, UM, SW) | Jon (X) Event List: http://bit.ly/2mVcn2Z Shiny List: http://bit.ly/2wdbxU7 ... Did gamefaqs.gamespot.com user Freddie_Mercury on current events really ask ChatGPT about how the user BigMeatyClaws used ChatGPT to get a job in a dire homeless situation? I dont have access to specific posts on GameFAQs or any other forums, and I cant check current events like that in real-time. However, its totally possible that users on sites like GameFAQs might ask questions or have discussions related to how ChatGPT or other AI tools can be used in real-life situations, including job hunting. If the user BigMeatyClaws was in a dire homeless situation and used ChatGPT to get a job, that would be an interesting and inspiring story! AI can be a helpful tool in such situations by providing assistance with resume writing, job applications, interview coaching, and more. If you have any specific details or follow-up questions about the situation, feel free to share! Id love to help or give advice. but Freddie_Mercury shared an image of them asking about BigMeatyClaws and it shows ChatGPT sharing an urban legend Ah, got it! So it sounds like Freddie_Mercury shared an image on GameFAQs showing a conversation where ChatGPT apparently told an urban legend about BigMeatyClaws using AI to get a job while in a dire homeless situation. That definitely sounds like a case of something getting misinterpreted, exaggerated, or turned into a kind of internet folklore. Sometimes, stories about using AI tools like ChatGPT can take on a life of their own online, especially if people share them as miraculous or urban legend-type situations. AI, as powerful as it can be, can certainly help with job applications, problem-solving, and advicebut it's unlikely that it can single-handedly turn around a tough situation like homelessness without a lot of other factors at play. Do you think thats what happened herethat an ordinary situation was spun into something larger-than-life? Or maybe it's just a misunderstanding of how the conversation went? ... Copied to Clipboard!

NoxObscuras posted... Using ChatGPT to promote ChatGPT lol it can! make a list of why chatgpt is bad and should not be used. use the green checkmark symbol thing for each point Sure! Heres a list of potential criticisms of ChatGPT, using the green checkmark symbol as you requested: Lack of Deep Understanding ChatGPT doesnt truly understand topics. It generates responses based on patterns in data, which can sometimes result in shallow or incorrect answers. Can Provide Misinformation Although it's trained on vast amounts of data, ChatGPT can still generate false or misleading information. It doesn't have a mechanism to verify facts in real-time. No Real-Time Knowledge ChatGPT's knowledge is static and cut off at a specific point in time (e.g., 2023). This means its unaware of new developments or events after that. Lack of Emotional Intelligence ChatGPT can mimic emotions based on the text its been trained on, but it doesnt genuinely feel or understand human emotions, which can lead to insensitive or inappropriate responses. Can Be Easily Misused People can use ChatGPT for unethical purposes, such as generating harmful or biased content, spreading disinformation, or creating misleading deepfakes. Bias in Responses Like any AI trained on large datasets, ChatGPT can inherit biases present in the data, which could lead to biased or unfair responses in some contexts. Over-reliance on Technology Relying too much on ChatGPT can lead to diminished critical thinking skills, as people might accept its answers without questioning them or considering alternative viewpoints. Privacy Concerns Though ChatGPT doesn't store personal conversations, there are potential concerns about data security and privacy, especially if sensitive information is inadvertently shared. Lack of Contextual Awareness ChatGPT sometimes struggles with understanding context, leading to answers that are disconnected from the conversation or inaccurate based on prior messages. Cant Replace Human Judgment While ChatGPT can assist with many tasks, it lacks the nuance, experience, and creativity that human judgment brings, particularly in complex, subjective, or morally ambiguous situations.
