I tried playing this several years ago but didn't get far because it was a slog to play, so I won't rate

No I haven't beaten this. I am sure I am missing the story beats that blow people away and maybe this is unfair, but I do consider having played around 15 hours to be enough time for the story to have gripped me and it just never really did and the gameplay is just kinda rough.

Someday I'd like to go back and finish it, and there is a decent chance I will before this series goes back into hiatus, but I also feel like it'd be a chore to do so. The enhanced edition having come out since my first attempted playthrough and enjoying Baldur's Gate 3 quite a bit are the main reasons it is likely I will actually finish the game within the next few years.
