Corporations have to maximize profit by law under the system they operate in. All you can do is adjust incentives and disincentives for them to raise prices. Tariffs are obviously an incentive to raise prices. If you don't like the system then you should be criticizing the system itself (or at least asking for some changes to the incentive structure within that system).
