Everyone that tried the demo at gamescom has been disappointed and said it runs like shit. Idk how because the game doesn't even run badly on the Steam Deck.

FROM isn't known for optimizing their games very well. Even the original game ran pretty poorly on next gen consoles. You had to play a base PS4 version on a PS5 in order to get the best experience.

regardless, i'm excited for it to come out, because the existing versions are getting a little content update and goodies

yep i remember how badly dark souls ran on PS3 and then the pc port was garbage and needed mods to fix it up to run properly on pc
most devs are just not putting effort in porting a game from one machine to another with care but just throw it at it and hope to brute force it with it's cpu/gpu power to make it run

Borderlands 4 is reportedly running poorly as well

Even the original game has a lot of performance issues. It took plenty of patches before it got fixed.
