And the cop basically got away with it. He got arrested and resigned, but his case was dismissed. You know they cops and courts dragged all this out as long as possible especially since this happened a couple of years ago and the news just now got the video. He's most likely a cop in another precinct, district, or town.

Cops deserve way more hate than they already get. Cops are like Republicans, there are no good ones. You have to be a bad person to be either. It's a prerequisite.

US police lack decent training and don't know how to de-escalate situations. In fact, they seem to escalate aggression. There's a video of police from other countries watching stuff and learning about US cops and they are shocked to put it mildly Many police forces require a degree or have 2 or three years of training - and that's without being armed. Armed police have additional training.
