I ran this topic years back and it was a lot of fun so bringing it back

Every poll option is selected from https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Random

1. If it lands on a character, that character goes in the poll
2. If it lands on a game with a very obvious main character (like featured on the box art), that character goes in the poll
3. If it lands on something that could somehow be easily interpreted as a character, it goes in the poll.
4. If the page doesn't fit any criteria above, or is a character already in Smash Bros., it gets skipped.

Note: If you think we should include characters previously in Smash and just really do a from scratch roster, feel free to argue as much

Feels like an obvious winner today but there are some legitimately decent answers in there!

I've never played Dillon's Rolling Western, but Dillon looks like a character that I could easily see being implemented in Smash.

You know, there was a sizable number of people pulling for Dillon in the lead-up to Smash 4. No chance now, but hey.

Dillon is freaking cool. He should join the battle and also get a Switch 2 game.

I thought you were referring to Big Boss before I saw the poll numbers. Guess I underestimated how popular Dillon was. Big Boss would just be a Snake clone anyway, so Dillon's the better choice.

There's definitely an alternate universe out there where Dillon is a fighter in Smash

Dillon is the "actually realistic answer" pick.

And that's why I'm not voting for him.

side note, tbh i feel like we kinda need like an image collage for these since even with the links like half of them are just to the games so it's not super obvious who they all are at times ((this is my cope for nobody else doing the funny helicoptor vote)
