The reason behind the buffalo's attack on the trackers remains unclear. A big game hunter has been fatally gored by the buffalo he was pursuing for a trophy kill in South Africa. I dunno if buffalo are the same way in this regard, but bison are evidently actual hell spawn. We went on a drive thru self-tour of wildlife in Minnesota last year, and the bison enclosure was like something out of Jurassic Park, with signs everywhere that were basically like "YOU ARE GOING TO DIE AND IT IS NOT OUR FAULT." They aren't that dangerous, so long as you've got common sense. I mean, you wouldn't want to get close to one, but so long as you stay in the car, you're fine. There's some close to here up in the Wichita mountains and I've been going to see them since I was a kid. If you leave them alone, they leave you alone. That said, I have seen some people get real close to them to take pictures... I mean within 30 feet, and those people were lucky to walk away uninjured. I've seen footage of people meddling them at Yellowstone and it didn't go well for them. --- God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes, 'cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose. - Everlast ... By and large they're just sociopaths, not humanitarians. It's also so weird that they keep doing unethical things like luring out protected research animals.
