Samsung Galaxy A series for basic phone stuff, plus it has headphone support & SD card storage support. The more expensive A models are there if you want better camera quality and a better processor for gaming/multi tasking. When it is folded it is much easier to put in a pocket than a regular phone. I have a Galaxy S24 which I'm very pleased with. Currently driving a Samsung S23 Ultra but have had Pixels in the past. I really want to go back to Pixel (we'll see how reviews for the 10 series go) but the one thing holding me back was how hot they got and the not so stellar battery life, which I hope the 10 fixes with the new TSMC based chips. The Fold7 screen is so narrow when you hold it closed. The Flip7 does feel good in the hand. Samsung foldables are really mature at this point but what's the point if the Samsung ecosystem sucks. My one experience with Samsung was the S10plus and that phone got really laggy after about a year. I miss my V60. Yeah there were bugs but damn that phone was versatile. It does what I need it to, and the gesture controls for basic features are pretty great(two quick shakes to turn on the flashlight, two twists to open camera for example). Motorola will never get my money after they fucked over the Moto Z Play and never did anything to address it. It was a phone notable for being a great value - it had modular accessories that were cool. But the biggest draw to it was it's absurd battery performance.
