It was a very stupid moment but Ki increasing your durability has always been a thing. Goku had his ki almost completely

Still really flippin stupid because kid Goku in the 1st chapter got shot in the head at close range and only had a minor injury

Zenos was called cause Zamasu fused with the universe

Universal killer Goku shouldn't have need to call him
But we know he isn't actually universal killer goku

Zamasu was immortal and even using Spiritual Ki (akin to the Spirit Bomb) didn't kill
Zenos has the power to erase universe out of existence Goku was being dumb and didn't expect him to erase everything. Destroying the Universe wasn't the goal

Superman probably only loses to Popeye.

Depends on version.

Some versions of Superman is almost like an omnipotent god with almost looney levels of power, some versions he can barely fight a powered human.

Some versions he practically cant be killed for good if the sun is shining on him, some versions you can make him stay dead.

Some versions he can breathe in space, some versions he cant.

Some versions just being in the same room as krptonite turns him into a helpless damsel, while some iterations he can be around the stuff for a good amount of time before giving out.

It's a case of someone with no limits fighting someone who is always breaking his limits.

Goku just can't keep up. Superman's power has no rhyme, reason, or consistency. He wins if the writer says he does, loses if they say he does, and that's basically all there is to it. He doesn't have hard rules to follow other than kryptonite effects, which goku wouldn't use.

I think the only consistent rule that hasn't been violated is red sun radiation drains his power.

Even the red sun thing varies. In some versions hes immediately depowered. In other versions, its more like exposure slowing drains him until he ultimately lands on E.

Superman has been nerfed so much over the years that it makes it hard to believe that he could beat Goku who has been getting progressively stronger.

But I do feel that Supermans strength flip flops alot. The writers have to make Superman look weak in order to make his villains look strong. While Goku never loses his strength but is always facing stronger enemies than him.

Goku would destroy Superman, but he would probably give him one of those beans to restore his health and then be friends with him.

Meh Goku would lose at first then just come up with another Saiyan form transformation and they would tie or something
