I love the Battle Network series even if they get a little samey. I wish there were more RPGs that had combat similar to them and the Mario & Lugi series.

Fair enough, but with how much time has passed I would be all in for a Battle Network 7 or Star Force 4. Especially with the concept they were pitching for 4 before it got cancelled.

They tend to loop rapidly, but the team had to do more with less in those cases. Chiefly, something like this:
BN3 headquarters, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_CKETfEKpk
It loops in thirty seconds which is objectively terrible, but it really works in-game. Another off the top of my head like this is BN2's boss theme.

Other favorites off the top of my head:

SF3 not-headquarters, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWxYgq6u0G8

BN6 dungeon, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uamJI_3-9c

BN5 final dungeon, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OBVju07d-o

SF3 final boss, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVfZF-98yWI

3 probably has the best OST in the series.

I think BN is such a mixed bag in every category. For every great song, they have one track that dominates the game that is incredibly repetitive and grating. Boss battles are fun, but random battles are repetitive and boring. The concept of the game is cool, but it never amounts to more than Pokemon with Iphones.

BN6 title theme has always stuck out to me. Sounds like it's telling a story that's about to conclude

The Battle Network series has such great music. Star Force is good too, but it didn't stick with me as much as Battle Network did. The main themes are always great, but 2's is probably my favorite.

Shooting Enemy from 3 is also such a good battle theme.

I wish I had gotten ahold of Star Force 3 before it escaped orbit in price.

Not exactly the same, but Inti Creates released a game last year called Card-en-Ciel that plays pretty similarly. The game is kind of a mash-up/crossover game, and this game's version of battle chips uses a lot of characters and artwork from their various series like Azure Striker Gunvolt and Gal*Gun while also using "original" games (that are clearly based on real world titles). I personally found the game to be a lot of fun with a lot of amusing references.
