That is ok. Some people thought Aerith was Aeris.

I bet you never noticed how the back of Cecil's helmet is a sad face, either.

Bosses are immune to the eat command so it won't be possible to end the final boss fight of the game by eating it.

lol, I like this one.

FF4 (yep, it was titled II because SNES ver), was my first RPG, when I was like 5. I got it on a rental, based solely on the boxart, and struggled so much with it that I only got to the part where Tellah is supposed to join your party. I distinctly remember talking to him but having him refuse to join me, and coming back later then finishing the dungeon. I dunno if I skipped some story thing I was supposed to do or what. I also didn't understand that you weren't supposed to attack the Mist dragon while it was mist. But I managed to survive the battle anyway.

I think I could read reasonably well for a preschooler, but I chose not to (lol) because I was used to, like, Mario and stuff and found that the dialog would go away if I pushed buttons. Kind of amazing that I did as well as I did, all things considered.

I thought that Cecil, prior to becoming a paladin, had slanted yellow eyes (ie. his helmet "eyes" were his real eyes).

I had to explain to Mrs. Devsman that Shadow from FF6 doesn't have a creepy smile; it's just the edge of his face cover that they made red so you could see where it ends.

Here's a render I found that's easier to see than in the original pixel art:

Goddammit, now I'll never not be able to see that as a creepy smile!

Time is a funny thing, you know? I guess in the big picture of my life, you were only a blip. But oftentimes, those "blips" make the biggest impacts.
