However, these people go viral from these videos for openly being bigots. They represent MAGA. I think it helps sway some people away from MAGA who are on the fence (independent libertarians Dave Smith types for example) from joining MAGA. They make it too taboo for those types of people.

i dont understand the point of videos like this. you're not going to change any of their minds by questioning their opinions, you're just going to make them feel self conscious and attacked so they'll double down. you're not going to sway anyone watching these videos, because most of the viewers that watch it already believe the general message and the ones that dont are just watching it to roast the host or react about how attacked they feel.

It's more general than this stupid Jubilee nonsense -- the US right doesn't hold any positions that are even worth debating.

That was a hard watch. In the beginning at least, but I got used to it. I sat through all of it.

Most of the far right was insufferable. Green shirt dude that looks like an actor/comedian, guy with a hat and pink shirt, and dark blue shirt were the worst.

The person that he decided to debate in the end was the smartest and he was decent. The white nationalist blonde woman that got a lot of heat in a previous video wasn't bad at all here, but the topic was about Gaza.

Yeah they got wiped clean by Mehdi. Most had no debate experience, and dude just had a wealth of knowledge and amazing debating skills. I'm a bit torn. I think he could have gone easier on them. He expected too much. I agree on pretty much all his points, but he was disrespectful at times. Always interrupting them to correct them instead of letting them finish, and then doing a lot of personal jabs during and after the debate. It really was him vs 15. It was entertaining, but it got pretty personal, so I could see how it escalated the way it did with some people, though those three people (especially green shirt and pink shirt guy said some xenophobic shit to him) were bad.
