Please don't tell me you mean one of the most unpopular politicians in US history, Brandon Johnson? The man that is so politically inept that he burned down so many bridges in Springfield to the point where the governor called him out on his shit?

I wouldn't doubt if his mismanagement of the city is why Springfield refused to save the CTA in the last spending bill.

It is incredibly depressing that the President who literally was able to finally track down and kill Osama bin Laden is still despised by a huge swathe of Americans, many of whom do not even consider him to be a "true" American solely because of the color of his skin.

That said, I do think that there is some hope for America, but I do think that we'll have to endure some economic depressions before people finally realize that regressive taxation is not a good idea.

Republicans and establishment Democrats are so scared of these politicians with dark skin who are doing the oh-so "unamerican" thing of actually trying to improve the quality of life of millions of Americans.

But we know why. It's because they and their donors profit specifically off of a shitty-ass system that allows them to profit by hoarding the resources that are necessary for a good quality of life (housing, healthcare, schools)

If establishment Democrats do not want to be labeled as being in cahoots with MAGA, then they shouldn't take money from MAGA-affiliated billionaires...wait, Cuomo did?

And his campaign used a lot of racist dog whistles to smear a Muslim candidate?

I mean, I'd still prefer an establishment Democrat over MAGA, but MAGA has moved the country so far to the right and it certainly seems like there are those Democrats who are just going along with it. It is sad that they are in New York of all places.

Cuomo is an example of an establishment Democrat though. He served a decade as Governor of New York.
