So I got a PS5pro and transfered my data, I currently have the two hooked up and can play one on the TV and the other on my monitor, was planning on selling the old one but my gf showed interest and would liek to keep using the other one, can I just use the two systems and the digital games I have no problem? is there a limit like back then on PS3 where you could share games with like 5 systems or so?

Gonna try to run balatro on both, even if it works Im not sure how saves are gonna work.

Nah, just tested it, even if I run different games it will suspend the game on my other system.

Can't you name one PS5 your main console and the other a secondary console? I remember being able to do something like that in PS4 but I've never owned 2 at the same time.

Yeah she needs to make her own profile on the other one. If the games are already downloaded on the other system they will work fine but if not she can log in to your profile on that one, download the game and then switch back to her profile after it's downloaded.

Designate the one your GF will be using as your Primary console. Anything you have bought on your account, she can download on her own profile and play.

While you just use your main account and profile on your console.

Ive done this a lot with friends over the years to give them access to my library for a bit when they couldn't afford a game they really wanted to play.

It should work as thats how me and brother share games basically. What TC would have to do is keep that old system that his girlfriend is using as the Primary PS5 (or whatever the PS5 calls that now) under his current PSN profile. She will need to make her own separate PSN profile to log in to the system but she should have access to those games at that point.

The reverse would also work too if she got any games on her own and TC would like to play them as well. She would need to use her PSN profile on the other PS5 and make that system the Primary PS5 for her PSN profile. That way TC could play any games she buys independently

I did it but all my games have a lock symbol which made me realize they are tied to my profile.

Ohh okay, I get it now, when I set up the new one it asked me if I wanted to set it up as the primary now, which I clicked on yes, so I will have to go back to the old one and set that one as primary and my new one as secondary and that way she will have acess to my library, will try that now.
