Lets just get it out of the way, Amsterdam, red light district, already on the list.

Hello everyone, I'm going to be taking a trip to the Netherlands and I'm currently doing research on it. I already booked my hotel in Utrecht right next to the train station and I'm going to base myself there the whole time. I'm looking for cities and specific places to go to.

In my research, just about every "places to go" list of every location is a bunch of art museums, and I don't care about them at all, so I'm scratching all of them from the list.

Here's the locations I have so far, just looking at widely talked about locations:
Arnhem (will be there prior to the 9 days for another event)
Amsterdam
Utrecht (Castle De Haar is on the list)
Rotterdam
Harrlem
Amersfoort
Delft
Den Haag
The Hauge

And I plan to cross the border and check out Belgium, mainly Antwerp and Brussels.

I know that's way too many locations for 9 days, so I'm looking to slim the list down or maybe combine locations. My question is there any must see places? For reference, I was in Japan last year and mainly enjoyed walking around the cities and checking the scenery/parks and walking into random buildings. Also, things being "too touristy" or crowded doesn't matter to me, I just want to see cool things. Thanks!

Perfect, easy cuts. When researching places to go I saw both those a lot and assumed they were different. I haven't dug into each location just yet.
