That's it.

Honestly I think brett ratner or whoever just heard the phrase rush hour and thought it was really catchy and had it be the title of the movie. And it is. What it actually refers to is at such odds with how cool it sounds.

You know.It is cringe all these years later. But it was one of those lines that worked really well in the theater in 1996. There was clapping at that line, and I was smiling too.

I think it really helped that the movie around it was so good and fun.

It's mostly silent, but Hundreds of Beavers halfway through the movie, along with the title card. I saw it in theaters, and the audience actually applauded.
