It might have less to do with everyone liking you and more to do with the fact that panhandling is protected by the first amendment and as long as you're not trespassing, being aggressive, or impeding traffic the cops cant actually do anything about it.

Under which part of the California penal code? The only thing they could hit them with is 647(c) and that still requires the act to be aggressive. If theyre getting arrested or cited, its likely for another offense like drunk in public, drug possession, outstanding warrants, etc. The act of panhandling alone isnt going to be enough.

We moved to another place not far

the security guard came out but luckily hes a super cool retired LAPD detective. He told us we arent hurting anyone and to not even worry about moving our stuff.

I am completely and utterly shocked that the latest Mead alt account was purged after a meltdown just like every other alt account they have created over the last few years. Im sure they will learn their lesson this time and not get their account permanently banned within weeks or days of returning from purgatory.

I think mead is the best lolcow we've had here in a long time.

I dunno, the whole Mead situation just seems kind of sad to me. Seems like they probably have brain damage from doing drugs and taking blows to the head, so I'm not sure they'll ever get out of this delusion that homeless living is the way to be. But yeah other than Mead there aren't a lot of interesting "characters" on the board anymore

I dont think its brain damage. He said he lives in a constant state of mania from his mental issues. I think it just brings a level of excitement and unpredictability to his life that he feels he needs. But sounds like he stays on drugs and has said hes OD'd a time or two. Imo someone who's happy doesnt do that

I don't think its brain damage or mental illness. I think its a narcissist trying to save face and glamorize their life as a homeless drug addicted degenerate and erase and ignore the fact that they rapidly descended to this life once their ex wife whom they leeched off of and admitted to being physically abusive to threw them out and their family refused to subsidize them in her place. Once it became their responsibility to support themselves, they chose that they'd rather be homeless and survive day to day instead of working a job. They can act like they're living their best life but id bet all the money I have that they would take their old life back in a heartbeat if they could find someone to subsidize it. This is the glorification of sheer and utter laziness from a narcissist desperate for attention and approval.

All I know is that pre-divorce Mead either wasn't like this or completely hid it from us. Well when I say "pre-divorce" I mean like years before, since I assume some of the spiraling must have been a contributing factor to the divorce happening

Ah yeah my bad didn't mean to twist it that way.

Maybe @nursereena could give us more insight about some of the physical and emotional abuse Mead has inflicted over the years. You know hes probably still trying to do some crazy shit to try and manipulate her even though its been years since their divorce.

Having had experience with a couple of friends that are schizophrenic/regularly experience psychosis, everything seems rather familiar. Not excusing Mead's behaviour, but I don't necessarily think there's ever been a game plan of any sort.

It annoys me that they pop up in here once every few months under a new name and pretend like them becoming homeless happened in a vacuum and not a direct consequence of their own terrible behavior and poor decision making. It always starts with them projecting this optimistic happy go lucky facade that inevitably slowly cracks and gradually crumbles and giving way to their escalating passive aggressiveness and belligerence whenever someone points out the contradictions and inconsistencies of whatever embellishment laden bullshit story that theyre rambling on about. This eventually reaches a point where they are told that they need to follow the rules. In response to this they double down and get purged/banned but on their way out they claim theyre the victim of discrimination by the mods on the basis of whatever attention seeking victimhood sympathy grift theyre currently running with. The type of discrimination they claim to be the victim of has changed over time but just off the top of my head they've accused the mods of discrimination against them based on their mental illness, being transgender and most recently being homeless. Remember when they claimed to.have BPD then shifted to Dissassociative identity disorder before dropping those claims altogether and shifting to being a transwoman, to non binary, to not even bringing it up anymore? Then this gave way to drug addict, recovering drug addict and now just being hated on for being homeless. They'll be back in a month or 2 with a new gimmick and will run this cycle again. Its past the point of being a sad situation and cause for sympathy and has become a tired cliche thats gotten old.

I fully understand that my annoyance with this is a "me" problem but I cant be the only one who feels this way.

The video is fair game in this context as it is a key piece in understanding how they got to where they are now. However tagging the ex wife and domestic violence victim who left him years ago and asking her to recount the abuse she suffered for lulz is pretty crass and is incredibly insensitive and inappropriate. Especially considering there is video of them admitting to it.
