Oh I understand all too well. Ive watched Spoonys Ultimate retrospective dozens of times and I immediately thought of the time he couldnt finish Serpent Isle because he lost the Serpent Ring only to learn much later that due to a game glitch the game neglects to check for the ring at endgame. For items on a shelf, yeah. That is especially true if they're on sale. Sometimes there will be a display elsewhere in the store, or a cardboard "shipper" with more. Displays and shippers are generally worthless for driving sales, since shoppers have no idea they exist and don't really search for them. But, on the flipside, that means there may a bunch of product still left when the primary spot is sold out.

Maybe you misunderstood the smirk. Maybe it wasn't mean; maybe it was "you want one of these delicious muffins? Come and get one, big boy."

I disagree. I had a blueberry muffin just yesterday from a really good local bakery. It was tender and moist throughout, but that tenderness means it has a looser crumb, and the outer layer had a nice, crumbly toastiness. Also, they topped it with a sugary oats sort of deal. My pants needed a good brushing when I was done.

Unless you're playing off 'crummy' vs. 'crumby', in which case I agree.
