Trump, in a Truth Social post, called Carlson kooky and insisted he and others urging the U.S. to stay out of the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran should understand Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.

Greene, a staunch Trump supporter, pushed back on the presidents criticism of the former Fox News host.

I just want to say that, as a Syrian, I and the vast majority of my people hate the Khamenei regime with passion for what it has done to my country. hundreds of thousands of innocent souls were killed at the hands of it and its proxies such as Hezbollah and its puppet Assad. The whole country was destroyed.

So you can guess my thoughts on what that regime deserves. To quote another poster here, what is happening right now is a heel program. The innocent civilians don't deserve it, and what is happening to the innocent civilians on both sides is heart Breaking, but the governments are both evil and should be taken to international courts and replaced with governments that know that human rights exist and murdering innocent people is wrong.

Toppling them is one thing. I dont think anyone ideologically disagrees with Iran getting a better government. What happens after? What takes the current regimes place? Thats the problem that there is no answer to.

I'd be highly suspicious of any moderator who even considers moderating your original post there.

By that logic, it's completely justify for foreign power to topples the current US administration and "liberate Anericans", because of how erratic, idiotic and dangerous they are, to not just US citizens but also the world at large.

Not for nothing, but post WW2 USA doctrine is specifically TO be able to handle multiple fronts at once. We just aren't full on supporting Ukraine. If we were pulled into Iran, and then NATO was attacked (and Trump wasn't president) then I don't think we would have an issue handling it. There is a large reason we have bases basically all over the world. Our deployment and supply lines are basically unmatched. More than 2 would be a problem though.

Our military record has been spotty at best so Im not that optimistic on the matter. Frankly the gap between us militarily and our rivals isnt as big as it used to be. Nor can our economy handle a war of that scale I believe.

Were also in a missile/drone era of war. Rendering all but our airforce pretty much useless.

Nevermind all the data China and Russia are no doubt collecting from this conflict as were pretty much seeing 100% of the US full might on display here and now.
