I've got a super powerful phone relatively speaking, and the game is hitching and crashing constantly on the lowest settings. There's some optimization issue here they really need to hash out.

I had no lag on PS5 til I opened up the temple restoration so its gotta be linked to the timers on that or something. Hopefully they optimize stuff and the game runs better again. The temple mode is pretty fun, but I think I prefer the simplicity of Cheesetopia

Yeah I've got an absolute monster PC and I've started seeing some stutters in certain places after 2.0. They had this problem before and it was sorted out so hopefully it'll end up getting smoothed out relatively quickly again.

Ive got faith in the team. Theyve done such a great job with this game. There are more skins coming too, but the new ones I saw are absolutely paid ones

Playing Fufu in the story and events I can't help but notice that the tutorials they give for her just completely ignore her spinning attack. In attempting to parse her kit descriptions it actually sounds like it's kinda-sorta important? Honestly not sure at all how you're supposed to play her but she seems to work just fine if you just bring her in for EX attacks and never do anything else with her since her Aftershocks eventually proc entirely on their own.

I'll be honest I didn't even notice that either. I was wondering why she was so slow to build meter but I guess it's because you're supposed to use that charge attack before switching out. Even without doing that she's still felt very smooth to play in the trials with Yixuan. But I think I'm still committed to getting Yixuan sig + Yuzuha. I don't want to build another stunner, I'm lazy!!!

I'm currently trying to get the rest of my roster to 50 to get the rest of the standard tapes in an attempt to hit pity before the selector goes away. I think it'll just be barely doable with the monthly reset? Only 4 more characters to go but I am once again broke as hell. In the meantime I have to get blasted with the anniversary popup every time I log in.

I feel ya. Im still trying to decide on the anniversary selector myself. I mean that could be M2 Soldier 11, M1 Grace or M1 Neko for me. I havent even built Neko yet so ruling her out seems obvious, but Grace doesnt seem too great sadly so M2 11 might still be my best option. Its hard to decide because youre always like what if I pick and my next loss is to the character

Probably doesn't apply to many here, but if you're only planning to build Yixuan and not Pan or pull for Fufu, if you can get Belion to 3/5, the requirement for two Yunkui Summit characters goes down to one, so you can use them with Yinxuan in every team.

This is interesting. I checked and it's applying to the upcoming Spook Shack bangboo too, so I guess this is going to be a new thing for faction bangboo moving forward? Makes them a lot better. In that case though, I'll be saving bangboo tickets to use on Yuzuha's bangboo so it's always on with her, or if that one sucks using them to max out my GOAT Robin (Snap is already M5 obviously).

Does the Temple Management ever actually require you to use the materials you manually acquire yourself inside of the Hollow? I'm almost level 20 and I don't think I've seen them used for anything other than a couple of super low requirement commission turn-ins...

I guess you can also use them for trade-ins but just the Bangboo deployment seems to absolutely drown you in materials - am I missing something?

Those materials can be used in good goods to get a bunch of mats to craft overnight with if you need, I found myself buying up enough to craft x1000+ so that my S-Rank crafter bangboo have something to do while I sleep. I don't know how necessary this is, but I am crawling in those tokens now, which might be useful for restoration stages later? I'm at stage 30 now.

Uhh I did this quest for the shop Sweety runs and answered a Wandererboo question correctly for an HIA guy, but the chest it spawned wont open. I dunno what to do to open it

Oh that happened to me, I just teleported away and then teleported back and that fixed it.

That did end up fixing it so thats good. Finished the 2.0 story stuff. Was pretty decent stuff. Im looking forward to more of the region. For now Im just gathering missing crates/exploration stuff and leveling up the Temple. Also working on getting Pan leveled up. Still gotta get better Drives for Yixuan too, but shes not awful with what Ive got so far at least

The story wasn't anything explosive but I did appreciate it being an actual investigation where you're just dropped into this new place and have to figure out what's going on. Also thought it was funny that there were literally three sus as hell guys in the plot and only one turned out to be a bad guy. (For now, at least. Doesn't feel like they actually wanted Shiyuan to feel suspicious here but the whole community seems to agree he just straight up has the character design of a traitor lol)

Yeah so in addition to what Accel said (I did cash some in for a boost while leveling), I just hit 35 and once you do you start unlocking "Refined" versions of early products that sell for endgame amounts. So now I can see the use because once every item is Refined there will be too many areas to keep up without micromanaging, and it also gives you a use for the trade items for "low-level" mats again.

Additionally you eventually unlock this weekly item turn in board at Yum Cha Sin and they might be requesting different items from the stuff you want tons of mats to craft and sell, so I often found it easier to spend my trade items on those.

I do hope they end up expanding on this mode in some way because while it's very satisfying it's also fairly basic

So for this week's Hollow Zero run I tried the new Aftershock gear since Miyabi is one of the featured agents and I noticed they gave her a specialized Aftershock equipment? The gear itself gives you this new assist mechanic that lets your other teammates do a Quick Assist as an Aftershock instead of tagging in, which seemed interesting enough. Well...

1) Including Astra on the team completely breaks the mechanic because her assists overwrite these, lmao
2) It completely bricked my run because the buffs were straight up not good enough to clear Miasma Priest within 3.5 minutes (which makes some sense because it's an anti-Miyabi boss, however Vivian + Nicole I thought should be very good on him...on my next run not using these buffs (and with Astra) I got it done with over a minute to spare)
3) It just seems...very clunky and not worth it. You now have to double tap to complete a quickswap, moreover agents like Vivian where the strength of the quick assist is actually having a follow-up combo don't benefit because they ONLY do the assist. So I don't know what the point is!

This seems like they might be testing the waters for a universal Aftershock enabler...but I don't think this is it. It is a neat idea, though. I was just thinking to myself the other day, part of why Caesar feels a little clunky these days is the rise of off-field Stun agents means her quickswap parry + combo playstyle actually takes up too much field time now! Letting agents do assists or parries without actually tagging out, Marvel vs Capcom style, would actually be a cool way to mitigate that.

The 3.5 minute clear is pretty brutal imo. Some of the agents just arent really ideal for it

Yeah I'm also not sure what to think about the Tag Assist gear. It's very clearly an experiment but I'm not sure it's a successful one. Some of the Mobility resonia add extra perks to Tag Assists but even running Yixuan who hard counters Miasma Priest, I didn't really feel like the Tag Assists were doing all that much to contribute to my run - certainly nowhere near what something like the Adversity or Ultimate gear would. (Plus I think those resonia are just straight up dead weight if you don't happen to have the Tag Assist gear???)

Separately, I think getting the Impair off by parrying Miasma Priest's big combo is my new favorite thing to do in this game. Getting the last couple of hits right after they soar into the air laughing during the wind up just feels fantastic.

I seem to really be failing the business sim. It took forever to reach the target for 27. Products run out and the materials to make them run out. It doesn't seem like I can just leave stuff idling until the next day. I want this over with so the screen doesn't flicker continuously in the Temple area.

I'm assuming "Type 3" A rank Bangboos are the best outside of the eventual S ranks? Trying to figure out what's actually worth the semi-limited exp resource.

Hmm trial Pan Yinhu runs 4 piece Proto Punk and 2 piece Astral Voice, but Prydwen suggests swapping those or even using 4 piece Swing Jazz so Im not sure which set is best

You get access to S ranks at like level 25 so I wouldn't bother with the A ranks too much outside of unlocking their skills and maxing out the Adventure ones which you will be using for a while. I also think you get plenty of currency to buy out the daily exp mats from the store

It depends on what your third teammate with him is. Since you don't have Astra you probably won't be using someone else with it so Astral Voice is fine, Proto Punk you can use if you already have that. I don't think 4pc Swing Jazz is very good on him because his chain attack takes forever. 2pc Swing Jazz is but if you don't max out his buff which is I think 3200 attack, then use a 2pc attack.

Yeah this is the portion I found buying materials was helpful. But I guess I ended up binging the temple by checking on it often as I was clearing out some of the new sidequests and events.

Ill likely run Proto then. I leveled up Ellens 3 main talents from 11 to 12 and got an S rank on stage 7 so maybe I can do the same for stage 6 now. Yixuan is really good against the twins

Is there something I'm missing with Yi Xuan's enhanced Basic? Doesn't seem to do much for such a limited use ability.

I think it can pull enemies in to group them up?

You mean her hold basic attack? (Technically an EX special because "lol")

If so, it does 30% more damage to stunned enemies. After a stun and ideally a double chain, you use her ult (or both!) to get the 40% crit boost and then hold basic for big damage.

No, no, that's Yixuan's EX special. He's talking about her enhanced basic, that's the one you do by holding her dash button! Obviously. You use that to regenerate her adrenaline and do a big hit if you also have the orb on her meter, and can also swap off her while doing it and the field will still be there.

(I'm doing a bit I genuinely have no idea which move you're referring to)

In that case this is correct! It's a nice opportunity to reset your Pan buffs as well since Yixuan isn't doing anything else and the enemy generally gets locked down pretty well by the field.

I fully understand why they broke up her skills the way they did since having to take four different skills to 12 would be ridiculous but this really does demonstrate how absurd it is that she has "EX Specials" on literally three different buttons lmao

I'm realizing now I don't even know what the yellow bar is to the left of her orb and what it's actually used for.

I've pretty much just been spamming her non energy ult and and hold the bottom ex special and it's been working out lol.

The yellow bar is her second ult, yes - you fill up the gauge by spending adrenaline. Using the second/non-energy ult gives you an orb. So spend adrenaline to use the ult to use the orb to regen adrenaline to spend adrenaline etc etc etc

She's legit my favorite agent to play in the game now, I love the complexity of her kit but damn if explaining it to someone doesn't involve a lot of rapid gesturing at the air.

....It feels to me now like the kit is actually pretty simple, but is made disastrous to read because of too many nouns.

That's generally true of almost every agent really - there are now several agents who have gameplay that boils down to literally pressing a single button and leaving the field, but they've got metric fuckloads of text describing all the stuff happening in the background as a result of pressing that single button

Her text is about as difficult to parse and while I do complain about them shuffling where the attack text actually is in the kit, it is just in service of making her skills more efficient to level. But despite using the same 3 buttons she legit has more inputs than the rest of the cast. Add that to Adreneline being a unique resource to manage and I think it's fair to say she's actually the most complicated agent.

But, there probably is a point to saying its overcomplicated. She does have a lot of neat tech but the actual difference in power is apparently not that high

I did eventually go in-depth and figure everything out. She has a whole lot of moves and the in-game explanations are bad. That's what it comes down to.

Yeah literally every stunner wants King of the Summit unless you're running them in a double stun comp (aka Hugo team) and someone already has the 4 pc buff covered.

Does that mean even A Anby, Pulchra and Trigger want it? Guess Ive got a new set to farm and I havent really gotten a single character to an ideal state yet
