No. I prefer greatly to use an eyeglass cleansing cloth, but a shirt will do in a pinch.

I only wear glasses when driving since I'm nearsighted. Thus, I keep a cloth in my car to wipe them with.

Yes. But It depends on the shirts. Some shirts work better than those cloths while other shirts just smear.
