Getting Tsubasa up to 4 damage from an attack potion+volt buff and then starting a wave by having a different character kill 3 or 4 enemies with an Ult so Tsubasa can just drive around the entire map clockwise killing everything is so fucking satisfying.

I also just realized I could give her a desperation potion and then give her the +2 damage when in critical condition and just melt the world.

The only 2 routes I've done so far besides the first one have had a grand total of 3 free times lol

It's very unbalanced. The first route I did had one free time, and then the next one had like ten.

The route I'm on right now had like 8 days of free time in a row and then I'm on line the 7th day of battles in a row, literally nothing else. It's the point for the route to be frustrating and it's extremely successful at that lol.

Finished another route, so I've finished the slasher and killing game routes, and got as far as I can into the mystery route as possible. I sort of wonder if I did these in the expected order, because I got some information early on that other routes do everything in their power to dance around giving you.

That was one of the first side routes I did and yeah there's so many little things there that are expanded elsewhere.

Could just be I haven't seen a bunch of stuff up there yet because I've spent FAR less time exploring it, but that top half branch from the very first choice seems like it's got far less content than the bottom half branch.

That shocks me, because I haven't touched the bottom half of the game at all yet, I have at least one (and maybe two) routes left in the top half, and yet I'm 63.6 hours into the damn game.

I mean it's possible I'm wrong!

But my GUT is starring at what part of the chart I've unlocked and it SEEMS like the bottom choice leads to like....2/3 of it maybe?

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about (the Ghost of Captain Cutler diver suit), it's definitely changed my perception on how things are going in the top half route I'm currently on.

I've gotten to a lock in that route!

I mean the main thing is that the primary route for this that's as long as the first route is in that bottom half.

I caved and looked up the route I'm on, because I had to know, and I ammmmmm GOING SOMEWHERE ELSEEEEEEEEEEE

So I did also cave and look up which ending/s are the big, 'these are the ones leading to the true route' ones and from what I gather if I want to mostly do those last I should avoid the ones named (spoilers for names only) Steady Fundamentals and Last Defense Academy 2nd Scenario

So I guess if I notice I'm on those ones I'll bail and do others first.

Finally got some new endings. I am up to 12, and suspect I am moving onto a route referenced recently based on some things I experienced in one awesome ending.

If it's the one I think you may be on, you better fucking prepare your ass because it's the second time I've quit to go do a different one.

The best thing so far has still been the main route leading to ending 1 (not the original route). Some of the stuff towards the end there is just too fucking good.

24 endings so far. I think my current route is my least favorite so far, which is unfortunate. It's the Comedy Route.

It's actually a little shocking when a battle starts and it doesn't offer me the ability to skip it now. It happens maybe one time per route, and it always takes me a second to realize it.

Yeah I actually kind of dislike how few battles it seems there are now. It feels like they blew their entire gameplay load in the first route and now its just kinda there.

Which makes the exploration feel worse because the little mini fights you get into are legitimately never interesting and you can't skip them (unless you do auto exploration but you both get less rewards for that and can't get the locked items for the Gift-O-Matic)

There are certainly routes you can go down that won't, uhhhhhh.....won't have that problem!

Am I understanding correctly that this game is actually the longest visual novel of all time? I saw a headline just now that the script was 6M+ characters. I'm sure there may be some nuance as to how that's chopped up given that a lot may not "count" towards actual story length but that's uh, bordering on doubling the length of what I think was the record-holder up to this point! (Spoilers purely to disguise the sheer scale)
