If anything you'd think this would have made them take it more seriously. A virus leaked from a Chinese biolab sounds way scarier than a mutated bat virus.

Tbh I do think lab leak is plausible (because if anyone is as/more responsible for that disaster than Trump it's Winnie Pooh), but still that doesn't change anything in how godawful the response was
