I dont know how, but I made it. I sat through the entirety of Bio-Dome and emerged on the other side, forever changed. Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin tested my endurance, my patience, and possibly my will to live. Yet, I persevered.

Was it a comedy? A social experiment? A test of human resilience? Im still not sure. All I know is that my brain has been altered in ways I cant fully explain.

Have you survived Bio-Dome? How did it change you? Lets share our stories and heal together.

I tried to revisit it a few years back. I did not survive 10 minutes. Some things are best left in the past.

Yeah I couldn't even call it a "it's so bad it's good" like with something like Freddy Got Fingered. Bio-Dome was just a bad film in general to the point where there's not even any "cult following". I have a hard time finding anything good to say about the film in general.

Ive watched it dozens of times. For a Pauly Shore movie its not as good as Son In Law or Encino Man but still decent enough for me to enjoy.

It's not a bad movie like at all. It's actually pretty good and pretty funny.

Plus, anything Pauly Shore is in is automatically a funny movie.

That movie was awful. But I guess I was going enough that it didn't bother so much. It was still bad. But nothing I'd complain about.

I used to love Pauly Shore stuff when I was younger. But I already know I wouldn't find that stuff funny anymore. As another poster said. Some things are better left in the past.

I often try and revisit movies from the 80's and 90's I loved as a kid. It's a real mixed bag as some of them really don't hold up, whilst some hold up really well.

I listen to a movie podcast that reviewed FGF. I'm way behind btw. Episode was Dec 2020. They pretty much agreed FGF was the worst movie ever made. That review made sure I never watch it

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever.
I only know three things about it.
It is supposed to be a bad movie.

It had a GBA game, Ecks VS Sever, which was based on an early script of the movie, and released before the movie was even filmed. It was a Fps that actually got praised.

The GBA game got a "sequel" called Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, which was based on the final movie script and released one month before the movie. It improved most things but got a lower score because it starts with a hard hedge maze which turned away many players.

Absolutely love Son In-Law. I watch it every Thanksgiving.

Those early 90's films in that vein like it and Cool As Ice are comfort films for me.

Just watch the Jury Duty show with James Marsden instead. That's a pleasant watch.

I remember enjoying Biodome, but it's also been ages since I've seen it. Was Son in Law the one where he was a mob boss's kid and the goons didn't like him so they dropped in the woods with a bunch of rednecks and he ends up making 99 bananas moonshine for them?

I toured the real biosphere in Arizona, it was pretty interesting. Apparently, there were some people who broke in during the second mission but it was an act of willful sabotage, not a couple stoners. I was disappointed to hear that.
