IDK, I'm not that triggered about AI art in movie posters like a lot of people seem to be.

But I am paranoid about my writing being flagged as AI generated, because I noticed a lot of times when I enter a prompt into an AI chat tool, it generated the same style of language and writing that I tend to use.

It's common knowledge that as technology advances certain jobs becomes obsolete. It's been true all throughout the history of mankind but apparently now it's a problem with AI replacing art or whatever. _

Every technological advancement has replaced... 'filler' jobs.

AI can replace damn near every job that doesn't require human level manipulation of objects.

And the rich fucks up top are intent on culling massive swaths of the population now that they have the means and ability to replace those workers.

It is a lot worse than 'just replacing art/actors/personalities'

that's where I am. i was never paranoid, it was a fun novelty for a hot second back when its generative ability was shitty, then it immediately outstayed its welcome, and naturally has become monetized, commercialized, copied again and again by corporations, and invasively pushed into our lives, like meta and copilot, etc

I'm mostly concerned about how it's going to fuck up copyright.

As a coder, the AI accusations are already frustrating. It seems my code is "too perfect" ...

I think AI art is unfortunately here to stay, but it's not really that dire. If anything, people will pay a pretty penny for something handmade compared to being shat out of a factory, especially art.

I'm not saying it's guaranteed, but art skills may actually become _more_ valuable.

People need to start being paranoid of the alleged AIs pumping out bots disguising as real people by the billions that post the majority of online comments on every platform, possibly trying to manipulate people into retaining hyper consumption lifestyles as well as using algorithms to sway different communities politically in an effort to radicalize them against each other to fuel the culture war, dividing us so we don't eat the rich.

I don't trust AI, x.x

What they fail to realise is that without those jobs, people won't be able to afford the products they are selling.

I have more pressing matters to be paranoid about thanks, I live in America.

I'm in a few groups that post AI pictures. It still can't get fingers right most of the time.

I'm not great at telling when something is AI made, but it doesn't bother me. It feels like a pretty minor issue compared to everything else going on.

AI content is like furniture made completely out of glue: It looks almost right, but it falls apart under the "weight" of any scrutiny.

I think most ppl with one foot in pre & post A.I. will notice easier.
Beta Gen will less so, & likely care far less all the same.
