i don't think so. think it was the end of 2023 i bought a couple pairs. my main ones are wearing out but i have another pair already for a replacement from like a buy 1 get 1 free/half off sale.

Last time I bought a pair of shoes was 2004 when I moved into my house. Turned my old pair into lawn mowing shoes. Been using the new shoes since then as my main shoes.

Managed to snag some Docs late last year. Pair of matte black 1460s in my size just...apparently waiting on the top rack at Ross for half price.

Sure, why not. Definitely not actual work boots but will make good going-out boots.

Bought the Black Cat Jordan 3s earlier this month.

My shoes had holes on the bottom of them, so yep. With a gift card that my job gave me I got new shoes for Black Friday.

I didnt get shoes since Christmas and technically it was a pair of slipper-shoes and a pair of boots.

Yeah but before that it was 2021 so I had the same shoes for 3 years.

I have to wear specific types of shoes to go into the labs (closed-toe, non-mesh, fully enclose the foot), and I get new shoes a couple of times a year. We have enough potent solvents and dangerous chemicals that I replace my shoes before they wear significantly enough not to give me enough time to take the shoe off before I lose my foot. I donate my used-but-still-good-for-normal-wearing shoes to domestic shelters because I don't want to waste shoes that still have life in them.

The labs are pretty hard on shoes, but the Doc Marten boots I got a couple of years ago are holding up just fine.

Yes I needed new work shoes so I got a pair of Sketchers non-slip shoes.

Not sure. I know it's been a while since I bought my current pair, as they are past the point where I should probably replace them, but I can't remember exactly how long ago that while is.

I got a pair of Nike kill shots in December that should last me at least a year.

Yes, a new pair of Brooks running shoes since my old ones were getting worn. Although I wanted ones that were mostly blue like my old ones but the closest were ones that were like 40% blue and the rest white with a little green.

Yep. my old first responder boots were finally wearing out late last year so, i got me a new pair of sketchers wide width goodyear tread work shoes. figured since im not running a super active job, i didnt need another pair of full size work/combat boots. super happy with the new work shoes, they look and fit great(which i was concerned about, never had a sketchers anything) and are going strong.

Then december my pop got me a pair of hiking boots. he thought since i didnt by another pair of army or cop boots i didnt want that style anymore so he went with some super rugged hiking boots. they are also pretty nice and i wear them abit more than my shoes since im still used to a heavier feel on my feet.

Actually yes... I decided this year was the year is spend more than $15 on work shoes... Spent $40 on some steel-toed sneakers
