How do I hit the sensors at the beginning of MGS2? I keep blowing up.

The ones in the tanker hallway strapped with explosives? You just crawl under them

Shoot the little terminal with the green screen near it (doesn't work with tranq gun though). Sometimes you also crawl underneath or go around.

i hate sensorship

So, there's the bomb and then there's the control unit or whatever. You want to shoot the unit instead of of the bomb.

It's been a long time, so I can't describe what they look like, but you can definitely tell a difference. Whatever you have been shooting that blows up when you do, is the bomb. Find something that looks different to shoot.

The problem might be that you don't have enough Rations and aren't at full health.

There are two sets. The first set, near the first boss fight, you can crawl under. The second set, on the other side of the engine room, you cannot.
