Pokemon Communication is a decent item card, I think its really going to help unbrick Stage 2 centric decks (even if the result is random) Toxicroak seems fun if you like coin flips, with a full bench odds are good youre out damaging Pika EX Lots of status setters here too. I think Magmortar is the first one to bring Burn into the mix. Wasnt expecting it and Electivire to be so similar to Melmetal but Im into it. Vire looks like a ton of fun to use, it can benefit from Surge (as Electabuzz) and Volkner and can still do chip damage prior to gaining four energy. Lake Trio seems like a really unique premise too, with Azelf for chip, Uxie for building Mesprit, and Mesprit for a major damage nuke. Probably not gonna be meta, but looks fun. Spiritomb gonna be a fun gimmick to use with Cyrus. Darkrai EX is pure evil, doing free chip from the bench every time you play energy on it, and then spamming sleep status. Disappointed theres only three Pokmon tools (was hoping for an Air Balloon equivalent) but Cape and Rocky Helmet are both great. Everyone is freaking out about stacking a Druddigon with one, but personally Id rather stick it on something that can threaten a 2ko into a 1ko thanks to the chip. Or is just an obnoxious wall like Exeggutor EX --- I'll tell you where the real road lies: Between your ears, behind your eyes. If theres plentiful events that provide tokens you can amass and work towards over time to make, say, a rare trade every two weeks or so, that feels better to me. Make card burning the last resort option to get tokens in a hurry, instead of the only option. Heck, make earning tokens tied to battling with a daily challenge awarding tokens for participating in battles, and thatd go a long way plus push more engagement with battles in general. It could also just be this is phase 1 of en**ification, which comes for all good apps in the end when theres profits to be made. --- I'll tell you where the real road lies: Between your ears, behind your eyes.
