Beat me to it. Gyarados EX deck is pretty busted.

Also, the last guy got stuck with a Vulpix, so all I had to do was use Frogadier for a 3rd-turn win.

Also also, I like how arbitrary the number 40 billion is.

So I was playing in a foreign language to take advantage of the wonderpick event right? Because I booted up the game in a foreign language, the Promo Pokedex celebration card they gave out for free is in a foreign language, even after I switched it back to English before I even opened my gifts. Bro this is dumb.

Got my 5th consecutive win thanks to the heart of the cards. Had Gyarados out vs full health Mewtwo, and drew Giovanni from almost a full deck, to OHKO Mewtwo and win. Id have lost if I didnt get Gio right there.

I sometimes see some bad packs on Wonder Pick but this is one of the worst. Sorry, Ricky Spanish.

Got my emblem! Just like last time, on my first attempt I got 4 in a row them bricked, then on my 2nd attempt nailed it! Gyarados ftw!

Phew, I'm glad I got the emblem first try. Got lucky, first match was Starmie/Dragonite and that could have wreck me with typing, but everyone else except one (Marrowak) was playing Celebi ex.

And sympathy to the poor soul who lost because his Celebi flipped 6 out of 6 tails

Well that was surprisingly easy. Went 5 and 0 with Pika EX. Zebstrika saved me against a Mewtwo EX deck, and I had a lucky run again a Blaine deck where I outpaced it with a perfect curve to turn two 90 damage Pika EX, and hitting all the supporters I needed.

You can get thanks from doing private battle with password of "thanks"
Immediately concede and get thanks. Repeat until you get five thanks for the day. Takes only a couple minutes

The more meta of a deck I use, the less thanks I get lol. Play Gary, Pika, M2, don't expect many thanks coming your way even if you lose.

The thanks system sucks, I said the same thing last topic lol.

I finally got immersive Mewtwo last night after a couple weeks of opening nothing but Mewtwo packs. Now I have immersive Mewtwo, Pika, Charizard, Mew, and Celebi.

This win 5 consecutive matches is the worst system they could have used for a purely luck based game.

Just got my 5 win emblem using a Machamp Ex/Marowak Ex deck.

I did more PvP to finish off the win 15 battles mission and ended up winning another 5 consecutive. And it was just with Articuno/Starmie deck this time.

Gyarados EX was getting countered too often, so I built a lee/primeape/marshadow deck and it cleared very quickly. Meta isn't built to handle immediate damage.

You're not wrong but, I just view it as something to do. I'm gonna battle regardless.

I turned off my 'Share booster packs' setting so I can both continue hunting Godpack wonderpicks and start thanks-swapping again. For anyone else interested, I think it takes about four days for all your packs to clear out from showing for others.

I haven't dug into anything since my venture is over, but there was an update not too long ago. Wouldn't be surprised if they axed new accounts that only roll 3 from showing up.

One of the visible cards in the teaser mentions Pokemon Tools, so they are bringing that mechanic to the game now

Stamina AND currency requirement for trading it seems, along with all the other already known restrictions

Picked up the game maybe 2 weeks ago, tried playing during the pvp event and it feels like if I don't have a buttload of ex cards I may as well not even bother. So many Celebi ex decks. I tried playing with a fire deck for a little bit to try to counter, but the only "good" fire I have is Arcanine ex, but it hurts itself and takes 3 energy, so by the time I get up to that much I'm already getting destroyed by ex cards that only require 2 energy. My lightning deck does alright with Pikachu ex doing 90 damage and Raichu doing 60 + 20 to the bench, but that's usually not enough to counter the damage output of the other decks. Really looking forward to trading though, hoping it's not massively paywalled.

Damn, so Cynthia is a super Blaine for Garchomp/Togekiss. Part of what makes Blaine work is the speed so having this roll with Stage 2 Pokmon might be less consistent, but I can imagine itll be game winning burst damage.

Dialga EX looks awesome. Metal finally has an EX, and its going to pair so well with Melmetal. Cant wait to try that out.

Palkia EX Im less convinced on, its kind of a hybrid of Articuno and Gyarados. Itll be strong just by nature of being Water and taking advantage of free energy from Misty, but unless theres something more to keep water energy flowing (pun intended) that 3 energy discard on its nuke is going to hurt. I dunno, you only need to get one key KO with it and youve got momentum though, plus its basic. Itll probably be a good alternative to Gyarados without the Magikarp weakness.

*EDIT* Im wrong, Palkia is going to wreck ****. 30 damage on a single energy means you can start chipping immediately (even first turn with a single Misty head), and its a great consistent lategame cleaner for stuff like Starmie EX or Greninja that like to have the spike damage for longer games that they cant out-tempo.

Pachi looks great, finally feels like a complement to Pika EX. I really hope one of the Tools is Air Balloon (-1 retreat on attached Pokmon) because I loved that in the physical card game, and its be nice with the new Leafeon (90 damage for two energy, but you cant attack with it next turn - so having a consistent way to bench it freely would be nice)

Holy crap that looks fun. Also, sickest full art in the game.

Lucario being mostly support is surprising, but I guess so was Moltres.

I wonder if well be getting Arceus this set too.

Haven't read the whole topic, but apparently McDonald's has pokemon Happy Meals now, and they come with some kind of code for tcg pocket.
